Rainbow Hats

Red heart Crayola yarn really produces great color schemes. This one has a band of Crayola and then two blocks of complimentary colors.

This hat has rainbow swirls all the way up with a complimentary brim color.

Elena's Hat

My niece, Elena, is a new loomer after I knitted this hat for her. She loves the garter ridges. The pom pom can swing free as seen in the bottom photo or be pinned up near the top of the hat.

Beginning with Hats

I was experimenting with 2 colors and stripes. When I saw the boxes that were created, I added buttons.

This hat was made for my granddaughter's teacher. The school colors are black and red. Then I added school-themed buttons.

Here I was practicing knitting and purling.

This hat was made for a friend's grandson. The yellow and black reminded me of bees so I added appropriate buttons.

And here are some of my first hats. I tried purl stripes on some but got carried away so that they ended up on top. The hats are loved by their owners so sometimes don't plan ahead.
